In second edition of Ainsider, which i hope will be your Monday lecture, i want to tell about probably the most important AI news/update of 2023 - OpenAI DevDays, and huuuge announcements about GPT.

OpenAI DevDays 2023

OpenAI DevDay 2023 could be the most exciting AI event of the year, if the rumors are true.

ChatGPT, the most popular conversational AI platform, is expected to undergo a major transformation.

These are the (unverified) leaks that have been circulating online:

LEAK 1: Gizmo V8

ChatGPT is getting a new prototype, called Gizmo V8, that will have a fresh design and a lot of new features.

@arrakis_ai leaked the full list of features for Gizmo V8, which include:

➞Sandbox- A place to import, test, and modify existing chatbots.
➞Custom Actions- A way to add extra functionality to your chatbot using OpenAPI specifications
➞Knowledge Files- A feature to attach additional files that your chatbot can use
➞Tools- A set of basic tools for web browsing, image creation, etc.
➞Analytics- A dashboard to view and analyze chatbot usage data
➞Drafts- A function to save and share drafts of chatbots you’re working on ➞Publishing- A option to publicly distribute your finished chatbot
➞Sharing- A feature to set up and manage chatbot sharing
➞Marketplace- A place to search and deploy chatbots created by other users

LEAK 2: GPT Builder / Magic Creator

GPT Builder will let anyone create and share their own AI assistants / create “New GPTs”.

You can create your GPT (AI assistant) by adding a name, description, custom instructions, conversation starters, files (like Code Interpreter), specific capabilities, and actions.

GPT Builder can also create profile photos for GPTs using DALL-E 3. Within the actions tab, it seems like you can add functions directly in-app.

You can also add “Custom Actions” with none, API Key, or OAuth Authorization.

LEAK 3: Context Connectors

@btibor91 shared a screenshot that shows that ChatGPT will also have “context connectors” to connect to other apps outside of ChatGPT.

The screenshot shows both Microsoft 365 AND Google Drive.

4: Workspace and team plans

In addition to these new features, the company is also launching new enterprise subscriptions and a “Team Plan.”

The Team Plan: -Costs $35 a month -Offers unlimited fast GPT-4 -Has 4x longer context window -Allows unlimited use of Advanced Data Analysis -Does not use data for training

@arrakis_ai also said that we can look forward to speed improvements for GPT-4, DALL-E 3 API announcement, and a possible GPT-3 open-source release.
